RADIANT HEATING

Radiant heat is typically regarded as the most comfortable, healthy and natural heating method available and is gaining in popularity.  It is a unique, efficient and cost effective alternative to all types of forced air heating.  It will make your home incredibly comfortable without noise, drafts, dust or high heating bills.

Your floors are warmed by circulatiing heated water through strong durable flexible plastic tubing spaced evenly back and forth, wall to wall, across the floor just beneath the surface.  The floor then radiates this heat evenly throughout your home or individual rooms, providing even comfortable heat.  Because the heat is delivered at floor level, it warms people, furniture and other surfaces, not just air.

Although usually associated with concrete slabs, radiant floor heating systems are now versatile enough to be installed in any type of construction.  New materials and installation techniques make radiant heating adaptable to both new and existing construction and can be placed underneath almost any type of flooring.  In addition to being extremely comfortable, it is quiet, clean and can be upto 40% less to operate than a forced air system in the same home.

Radiant heating offers several  methods of delivering heat to your home, from infloor heating of the entire home to just basements or garages, bathrooms, kitchens or entryway tile floors.  Systems can use a combination of floor heating, traditional copper fin baseboards, panel radiators, even towel and coat warmers.  Some systems now include driveway and sidewalk snow and ice removal.

Electric Radiant Floor Heating

For both small reovations, electric systems may offer the best "bang for the buck."  They can be installed under tile, marble, natural stone or floating floors and engineered wood flooring.  The low profile makes room to room floor transitions unnoticeable.
